I want to share the best natural way to deal with diabetes and relieving the symptoms. I want you to cure diabetes naturally. A recent study, I have gone through shows a surprising result. Diabetes can be cured completely. This can lead you to how to cure diabetes permanently.
Note: This only applies to type 2 diabetes. Diabetes type 1 is often an inborn condition and can not be cured. So here, you can get tips managing type 2 diabetes only.
In this test no medication was involved or no new drugs are tested. The amazing thing is that the patients were completely healed with the nutrition only. What you put in your mouth is therefore much more important than you think!
Before we go further into the study and any tips on how you could run this diet, we first want to know the difference between type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
Types of diabetes
Every year thousands of people are diagnosed with diabetes. And thousands of others suffer from this disorder, but the diagnosis has not yet been made. Diabetes is actually a group of diseases, the main characteristic being that not enough insulin or no insulin is produced at all. Type 2 diabetes is a condition that comes from your lifestyle. Nearly 9 out of 10 people with diabetes suffer from type 2 diabetes. In the past, diabetes was primarily something that occurred in people of higher age. However, many children already have the disease to date. This obviously has to do with an unhealthy diet.
Diabetes type 1 is completely different. This type mainly occurs in children and is characterized by the fact that no more insulin is produced by the pancreas in their body.
What is the exact problem
The body requires a special sugar called glucose as the main source of energy. The body makes glucose from foods containing carbohydrates, such as bread, cereal, rice, potatoes, milk, yogurt, and fruits.
- The glucose is taken through the whole body by means of the blood. The level of glucose in your blood should not be too high or too low. When the glucose rises above a certain level, some glucose needs to be removed from the blood and pumped into the body tissues to provide the cells with energy. A little amount of glucose is also stored in the liver so that it can be used later whenever required. When the glucose level is too low, a small amount of glucose stored in the liver is released into the bloodstream to raise the level in the blood again.
- Insulin is a hormone produced by the pancreas in the human body, which is a gland just below the stomach. Insulin is like a key that opens the “door” of the body’s cell so that the glucose can enter the cell and provide it with energy here. This process is called glucose metabolism.
- In the case of diabetes, the pancreas can not produce insulin or too little insulin, so it does not work properly.
- The glucose channels are closed without insulin. Glucose reaches too high a level in the blood, leading to a high blood sugar level that causes the health problems associated with diabetes.
Type 1 versus Type 2 Diabetes
In type 1 diabetes, the pancreas does not produce enough insulin because the cells in the pancreas that produce the insulin were not alive due to disorder in the body’s own immune system. This insulin must be replaced. So people with this type 1 diabetes need insulin every day to survive. Currently, insulin can only be given by injection but other methods may also be available in the future.
We do not yet know what the exact cause of type 1 diabetes is, but it can be hereditary reasons. Although the cause of this type of diabetes has nothing to do with lifestyle, a healthy lifestyle is important to keep the condition under control.
Type 2 diabetes is a disease caused by our lifestyle and is strongly associated with high blood pressure, heavy blood fats and the classic ‘apple shape’ of the body i.e. heavy abdominal fat.
People with this form of diabetes are usually insulin resistant. This means that their pancreas produces insulin, but the insulin does not work as well. The pancreas reacts by working harder to make more insulin to get balance for more fat. Ultimately, he can not produce enough for a healthy balance and the blood sugar level goes up.
A good & regular diet can keep the disease under control, although medication is sometimes necessary to prevent complications.
People most likely to get type 2 diabetes to have the following risk factors which are not in their hands
- Hereditary diabetes.
- Age – the risk increases as we age.
- Are from racial backgrounds with a higher risk of type 2 diabetes, Chinese people or people from the Indian subcontinent.
Risk factors that can be modified easily:
- Quantity of physical activities
- Diet pattern
- Blood pressure
What is pre-diabetes?
A person is diagnosed with pre-diabetes when the blood sugar level is higher than normal, but not yet high enough to be diagnosed with diabetes. Pre-diabetes can not only be prevented easily, it can also be reversed relatively easily. Here too, the most important is a healthy diet.
Symptoms of diabetes
In diabetes type 1, symptoms can often be sudden and even life-threatening, which is why this form is usually diagnosed quite quickly.
In type 2 diabetes, many people have no symptoms at all, while other symptoms are seen unnoticed as part of becoming ‘older’. That is why complications often occur when diabetes is noticed.
Symptoms include but neglected:
- More thirsty than normal
- More frequent peeing
- Tired always
- Always hungry
- Wounds that heal slowly
- Itching & leading it to skin infections
- Blurry sight
- Unexplained weight loss or Gradually arrive in weight loss
- Mood swings
- Leg cramps
Have you suffered from these symptoms lately and also notice that your blood sugar level goes up and down, go directly to your doctor to have you examined.
Heal type 2 diabetes
Promising research suggests that type 2 diabetes can only be cured by diet alone in just 8 weeks. The diet used has proven to be effective in people suffering from diabetes for up to 10 years, and the researchers think that it is likely that it will also work for people who have diabetes for a longer period.
Participants who suffer from diabetes for 4 years or fewer were placed on a diet of 800 calories. Daily food intake was limited to three liquid meal replacements (600 calories in total) and three portions of non-starchy vegetables (200 calories in total).
After 1 week of Diet:
- The blood sugar level on an empty stomach was normal again and remained at a normal level throughout the study.
- Glucose production by the liver decreased, while insulin sensitivity of the liver had increased significantly.
In the end of the study:
- Fat content in the liver and pancreas had decreased significantly
- The pancreas returned to normal with respect to glucose sensitivity and insulin production.
- The average weight loss was 15.3 kg or about 15% of the initial body weight.
- Four weeks after the end of the study, in 7 of the 11 participants, the liver and the pancreas were still functioning properly.
In short, the participants had effectively cured their type 2 diabetes.
At that time of research, the researchers were reluctant and the diet would not like to advise others, because there were too few participants in the first research to account for this. They wanted to see longer-term studies with more participants before they wanted to recommend the diet.
Nowadays, however, such strict diets are much more common. One of the most popular diets based on this principle is, for example, the 5: 2 diet, where you reduce your energy consumption to 500 k cal per day on 2 days a week. A variation on this has also recently become popular. This involves a reduction in energy consumption every other day. Intermittent fasting is also extremely popular, particularly because science supports the benefits of this.
The inventor of the 5: 2 diet has now also come out with a short-term diet of 8 weeks, based on the research above.
His diet is based on natural foods from Mediterranean cuisine and 800 calories a day, which means that people generally get into a state of ketosis. The advantage of this is that ketosis has a strong appetite-suppressing effect.
The researchers put the emphasis on losing 15% body weight. This amount seems to stimulate sufficient fat loss in the liver and the pancreas, so that they resume normal function and so that type 2 diabetes is cured.
While the researchers carried out their experiments with mainly liquid meal replacements, it is perhaps even more effective to use natural and unprocessed food. Because there are so many fibers in here, this also creates more saturation. Presumably, other diets that stick to the 800-calories per day rule will produce similar results.
Natural foods consisting mainly of vegetable foods are the best choice and provide the most gratification. And will also support the healing process. In addition, you will be able to consume a much larger volume by eating unprocessed, plant-based foods than if you would only drink shakes or opt for processed food.
For example, by eating a lot of vegetables one day, you can fill your stomach on very few calories. The diet lasts for only 8 weeks, almost everyone can hold something like 8 weeks, especially if you see results so quickly.
Also, for diabetics with a normal weight
It is worth mentioning that the diet not only helps to cure diabetes in overweight people but also in people who are at a normal weight. The researchers have the theory that everyone has a certain limit regarding the amount of fat in the liver and pancreas without diabetes. However, if you go beyond this limit, you will have problems that ultimately lead to diabetes.
For some people, this limit is so low that they already get diabetes when they have normal body weight. For example, there is a study that suggests that Asians with a BMI above 23 should already be tested for diabetes, while most of them have a BMI above 25. In this example, it is, therefore, a whole population whose tolerance is generally lower, although there are still large differences within ethnic groups.
Ultimately, this diet is meant to reduce fat in the organs, so it does not matter what weight you currently have, chances are that the diet works for you too.
About diabetes diet
Nowadays, only drugs are used to keep diabetes under control. However, this is a natural way to Cure the disease within 8 weeks and the researchers estimate that the diet works for about two-thirds of people with type 2 diabetes.
So there is a great chance that you could also benefit from it!
To help you get started with this diet, Listed below the most important guidelines for you, as well as a weekly menu for you. This means that you can immediately start with the diet. Note: a diet with so few calories might be harmful or have side effects in some cases. Do this diet (or any diet) always under the supervision of your doctor!
The following diet plan serves only as an example. You can, of course, choose to adapt the diet to your own needs.
The basic rules:
The rules are simple. The following guidelines exist to make it as easy as possible for you. They are not requirements, but by following the guidelines you have a greater chance of success.
- Eat mainly plant food and limit animal products as much as possible
- Avoid added fats such as oil and butter. Also, do not use fats when baking. Instead, use a few spoonfuls of water or vegetable stock.
- Eat three times a day and eat raw vegetables as a snack if you are still hungry
- Limit your energy consumption to 800 kcal per day
- Provide exercise every day for half an hour, but DO NOT exercise fanatically on this diet
- Follow the diet for 8 weeks
And that was it. As long as you limit yourself to mainly vegetable nutrition, you will see that you can eat a reasonable amount to meet your energy requirement of 800 kcal. Therefore, you do not have to suffer hungrily.
Keep in mind that you can show withdrawal symptoms in the first few days, including a strong headache. This generally goes after 3 days, but certainly after a week. Also, limit your coffee consumption in these 8 weeks, although it might be better not to stop coffee altogether during this diet because then you get stronger withdrawal symptoms, and it is not necessary to do everything at once. After the diet, you can also put the coffee aside.
To keep it as simple, the dishes are with few ingredients. All dishes can also be prepared quickly so that you can also fit the diet into your busy life.
